Shamanic Drum Circle
Letchworth Garden City
What Is Shamanic Drumming?
Shamanic drumming uses steady rhythmic beats to help calm the nervous system, quiet the busy mind, and access deeper states of awareness.
The rhythm supports relaxation, emotional release, healing, and connection to inner guidance.
It has been used for thousands of years across many cultures as a tool for wellbeing, insight and spiritual connection.
Welcome to the monthly gathering to reconnect with nature’s wisdom, your inner rhythm, and the power of community.
Join us for a deeply nourishing evening of drumming, song, sharing, and shamanic practices — guided by the ancient teachings of the Medicine Wheel and seasonal cycles of the natural world.
Each circle is a living experience, shaped by the time of year, the lunar energy, and where we are on the Medicine Wheel. No two evenings are ever the same.
The next few drum circles held at Wyld Shakti are women only drum circles.
Next drum circle:
September 24th 2026, 7:30pm-9:30pm
October 22nd 2026, 7:30pm-9:30pm
December 17th 2026, 7:30pm-9:30pm
Address: Wyld Shakti, 1 Wilbury Hills Road, Letchworth, SG6 4LB
What to Expect
We will work primarily with the teachings of the Medicine Wheel — a map of nature’s cycles, directions, elements, archetypes, and rhythms of life.
At times we may also weave in wisdom from other earth-based and nature traditions, always rooted in respect, integrity and grounded practice.
The Drum Circle is a sanctuary space — a place where ancient rhythms guide you back into alignment, connection and inner clarity.
The space is non-judgemental and we welcome everyone open to healing and connection.
No experience is required. If you need a drum, please let us know in advance.
Sessions will vary every month depending where we are on the medicine wheel. But you can expect a mix of different things including:
- Group Drumming
- Seasonal teachings from the Medicine Wheel
- Chanting of sacred earth-based songs
- Guided shamanic journeying
- Drum healing & energetic practices
- Seasonal teachings from the Medicine Wheel
- Sharing circle & reflection
(Not everything happens every session — the circle evolves organically with the season and group energy.)
Expect warmth, laughter, depth, emotional release when needed, and that delicious “I feel more like myself” feeling when you leave.
Our Circle Values
We hold the space with care, integrity and a clear intention of the following:
- Working from love and harmony
- Non-judgmental and inclusive
- Confidentiality and emotional safety
- Respect for all traditions and individuals
- Commitment to group connection and mutual support
- A harmonious, grounded and welcoming environment
Our intention is to create a place where you can exhale, be yourself and be met exactly as you are in that moment.
